About

Artist. Advocate. Athlete.

Tasha is a documentarian, photographer, speaker, organizer, and industry leader who believes bikes are one of the ultimate tools for community empowerment. Tasha utilizes her platform and abilities to amplify the stories of her community.

She has spent the last decade creating more accessible cycling spaces to all who desire to spin their wheels. Her work has ranged from hosting clinics for womxn and nonbinary racers for events such as Red Bull’s Mission Crit, to utilizing her development skills to raise funds for non-profit grassroots community cycling organizations. She has been a storytelling producer on numerous projects working with a diverse array of athletes. Tasha has also worked as a mechanic and shop manager at multiple local bike shops around Oakland. Her own time on the bike has ranged from zipping through the streets of San Francisco working as a bike messenger with Candlestick Courier, to racing as far as Tokyo, Japan. While her roots are in fixed gear cycling, she also enjoys bike polo, mountain biking, and has recently started gravel racing.

When she isn’t storyboarding, behind the lens of a camera, or pedaling a bike, she enjoys climbing (rock and ice), punk shows, and spending time with her dog.
